Hi, I’m Sage (they/them).

Nice to BE with you.

Who am I?

I am a loving, fire-filled, generous-of-spirit, mid-fat, queer, nonbinary human currently living on ancestral lands of the Cowlitz and Clackamas peoples (in Portland, OR).

I am a writer and storyteller. A driving enthusiast. A bourbon lover. A curious explorer of angles, perspectives, and what makes people tick. I am a provocateur, and I am always (un)learning.

My purpose and my passion is to facilitate discovery and create moments of meaning and connection through curiosity, vulnerability, passion, and exposure to new people, places, and perspectives. I believe in brave conversations based in understanding human experiences and helping people feel seen, heard, and honored for all that they are.

I have four decades of lived experience, and the last few years have been focused on curiously Exploring the Curves on the road back to my truest self.

I hope that in sharing my experience, I can help others do the same.

A few other things about me…

  • I’m an Aries Sun, Aquarius Moon, Gemini Rising. My Mars is in Leo and my Venus is in Gemini. I used to think astrology was ridiculous (ask me how a Garfield bookmark from when I was a kid shaped this point of view). I’ve since realized, I’m always looking for new perspectives, and astrology can provide a pretty fascinating vantage point for my understanding of myself.

  • I’m an Enneagram 3w2sx. I’m in recovery from Achiever Fever and perfectionism and still learning that it’s completely valid to honor and prioritize my own pleasure before worrying about pleasing others.

  • My Myers-Briggs type is INTJ. When I learned that I was more introverted than extroverted—by reading the book The Introvert Advantage in my freshman year of college—it changed my life by completely altering my understanding and compassion for myself.

  • Five things I cannot live without: A fun car to drive. Great bourbon. People I can laugh and learn with. Intimacy. Solitude.

  • When I eat Starburst candy, I eat them wrapper and all. Let's just say I was an impatient child, and the habit stuck.

Let’s explore together
